The Super Eagles of Nigeria are regrouping again for the first time since the Russia 2018 FIFA world cup, after winning just one game in the tournament which was a game against Iceland.
The Nigerians and the Nigerian team had so much expectations going to the world cup in Russia, but our hopes were dashed when the Super Eagles failed to improve on their games, and continued with their horrible performance and results in almost all the friendly games played before the world cup at the main world cup event.
Although the AFCON game is a few weeks away, it is not yet known if there is any friendly game that has been lined up for the players, given that one, the League season in Europe are just resuming, and most of these players fitness level are yet to be tested at the highest level since the just concluded world cup. It will be a disaster if the Super Eagles should lose the game or even draw as that could put the hope of qualifying to the AFCON 2019 in big danger.
Hopefully, the absence of the likes of John Mikel Obi and Victor Moses does not affect the team in terms of Leadership on and off the pitch, as Rohr and his Super Eagles team look for a positive result in Kaduna.
