Serie A side, AC Milan have completed the signing of Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko on a season-long loan with an option of a permanent deal at the end of his loan deal.
The French man who was signed from Monaco for £40m after a fantastic season with Monaco in the Champions League, failed to impress since joining the London club, as it has been one poor performance to the other. He struggled to hold a starting shirt for Chelsea, as he could not sort out his fitness issues.
Though he enjoyed few games under former manager Antonio Conte, his Chelsea future was suddenly dashed when new manager Maurizio Sarri brought in Brazilian Jorginho from Napoli and Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid to partner world cup winner N’golo Kante, and a possible third choice in Fabregas.
Chelsea will earn about £3m from the loan and also have given AC Milan first option to buy the French man at the end of his loan, for £32m, as they look to take advantage of their deal between Real Madrid for their now ex-goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, for Mateo Kovacic.
Though the details of the agreements have not been made public, it is expected that Kovacic would like to make his move a permanent one at the end of the season with Chelsea.
Bakayoko won the FA Cup playing 29 times for Chelsea.
