The ‘God First Ministry Church’ ably led by one of the leading pastors in Nigeria, Bishop Isaac Idahosa definitely knows how to combine the work of God and support or patriotism to one’s country, especially when it comes to what we as Nigerians love the most, which is football, as the Church shows their support to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
I was browsing through my page a few days ago, when I saw these photos put up by Bishop Idahosa himself on his Instagram page showing all his members all on the green jersey of the Nigerian Super Eagles to show support for the team which eventually won against Iceland.
The congregation from the photos looked like they might have seen the game between Nigeria vs Iceland live inside the church, judging from the photos. Such a lovely idea if you ask me, at least rather than see members rushing home to see the game, why not show it inside the church, then continue with the work of God afterwards. Their prayers could have been responsible for our first win against Iceland oh…lol see more photos:
