Mexico beats defending Champions Germany to take home all three points in their group game opener, as a lone goal from Chucky Lozano in the 35th minutes sealed the vital win for the Americans.
The World cup holders Germany dominated the game with over 28 shots but failed to find the back of the net, as the Mexicans were too compact for easy penetration. It could have also been worse for the German, as the Mexicans had opportunities but failed to utilize their chances as the game ended bitterly for the Germans.
