The convoy of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General TY Buratai on Saturday, intercepted four local armed bandits along Numan road in Yola.

Lieutenant General TY Buratai who was on a visit to see the troops in that State, as part of his official visit to see first hand the progress being made by the troops. His convoy intercepted the bandits who mounted a roadblock along the road in which his convoy was to follow through, and in the process, rounded up the bandits before they could escape.

Some of the items recovered from the bandits were 3 Dane guns, machetes and charms and some other items. See another photo:
