Africa and South African music legend, Bra Masekele was announced dead earlier today. The south African who was well vast in music, was said to have given up the ghost in the early hours of Tuesday, after battling with cancer for years.
According to times News, the jazz veteran underwent eye surgery in March 2016 after the cancer spread, and had to go into theatre again in September 2016 after another tumour was discovered.
He was said to have passed on after his courageous battle with prostate cancer in Johannesburg, South Africa. This is according to the statement released by his family.
