Kehlani Congratulates Cardi B On Her Pregnancy News And Album

Singer Kehlani has congratulated Cardi B not just on her pregnancy news, but also on her latest album, saying despite her pregnancy situation, the rapper is showing no sign of weakness. The singer’s post is comes a few days after the rapper confirmed that she and her new man, Stefon Diggs are expecting their baby together.

Kehlani who was recently featured in Cardi B’s album Am I The Drama? on Friday 19th September, 2025, shared a series of photos and a short video of Cardi B and herself on set of their new song, “Safe” with some powerful and inspiring words to her friend Cardi B, congratulating her on her new project.

Congratulations my hearttt…Cardi B watching you do this pregnant twice now? Inspirational. My second time walking on set and being MIND BLOWN seeing a little tinny person with a big ole belly on set for hours and hours being a complete joy.  I’m really proud of you.  I’m really honoured to witness you. Really inspired by you honestly, you are such a fucking powerhouse. You have built something that can never be taken away from you, all while being a BAD ASS MOM!  You deserve everything girlie.  Thanks for calling me again, we not the little Ring girls from 2018 anymore lol…. N U DESERVE TO FEEL SAFE. Love you, take ovaaaaa,” she said.

The rapper and musician confirmed that she’s expecting in an interview on CBS Mornings with Gayle King. This will be her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.

“I’m happy,” she said during her pre-taped interview. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work—but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

Cardi and the NFL player officially confirmed their relationship in June, although she dropped hints that she was “dating” in December last year. Speaking of her relationship with Diggs, she continued: “Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like, in the same space in our careers.”

“I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. And me and him think the same way. ‘Yeah, you’re one of the greatest, but what’s next? What are we doing again? We have to do it again, all the time.’ We’re never comfortable. We just have to keep going, and that’s just what we are.”

She topped off her interview with a request for fans: “Now y’all could buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told you. Now go support my album, cause I’m a mother of four now.”

Cardi B shares three children with her estranged husband, the rapper Offset: daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, seven; son Wave Set Cephus, three; and daughter Blossom, who was born in September 2024. Cardi filed for divorce in July 2024, and the legal proceedings are ongoing.

The rapper’s baby news comes swiftly after the announcement of her North American arena, taking her forthcoming record Am I The Drama? on the road from February 2026. Later in her interview, she confirmed that she is due before the tour is set to kick off.

Cardi B dropped the tracklist for her album a few days ago and most recently, she gave fans a teaser of the music video for “Safe” featuring Kehlani, and announced it would accompany the album’s release at midnight ET.

From the short clip she shared on her social channels, the song will be a piano-driven, emotive ballad in the same vein as her prior collab with Kehlani, “Ring,” from her debut album, Invasion Of Privacy. It also appears the video’s male lead is social media star Don Benjamin, who makes one heck of a f*ckboy face before the smash cut to the title card. Expect a drama-filled (heh) narrative inspired by Cardi’s worst experiences with men.
