Helen Flanagan brought her new boyfriend, Robbie Talbot into Celebs Go Dating, and it seriously backfired as he slamed the Coronation Street star in an upcoming episode of show, Daily Mail reports.
According to the report by Daily Mail, the former soap actress,Helen Flanagan 34, who recently confessed her love for the amateur footballer, was left perplexed as her new man heavily criticised her cooking skills.
Sat in a lavish restaurant, Helen Flanagan and Robbie start chatting about how Helen could improve her cooking skills as he confesses that her Spaghetti Bolognese tastes ‘like cat food’.
‘You can’t cook love. No, honest to God. I come round to yours and you said you was going to cook me spag bol (sic)’, Robbie begins.
‘So spag bol, there was no spaghetti, there was no garlic bread, there was no parmesan. It was just mince.
‘It was like cat food.’
Looking unimpressed with the comment, Helen snaps: ‘You know what, I always make sure you are not hungry.
‘I always feed you. I just give you the food I give my kids.’
The comments were made as part of a challenge set by the experts – who had tasked them with discussing things they don’t like about each other.
Earlier in the episode, Helen makes a shock show-first confession to Robbie.
Helen Flanagan holds a drink in her hand and starts: ‘So I basically came clean at the agency about me and you,’ as Robbie replies: ‘Oh yeah?’
‘So they want to know if you would come to the agency with me, as my boyfriend,’ she questions.
‘What do you mean?,’ asks Robbie, perplexed, to which Helen remarks: ‘Like come to see the agents with me as my boyfriend.’
Robbie continues: ‘And what?’ as Helen replies: ‘I don’t know, I think they just want to kind of meet you.’
Last week the blonde bombshell broke down in tears after she faced being axed from Celebs Go Dating – with experts sinking claws into star for lying about her secret relationship with Robbie, 44, and ‘wasting everyone’s time’.
In the previous episode of the Channel 4 reality show, Helen confessed to having a boyfriend ‘back at home’.
Robbie, who also has children, and told her shocked celebrity castmates and the show’s experts: ‘I think I am in love with him.’
After her confession, love guru Paul Brunson said in a confessional: ‘Helen has not only wasted our time, but all of the dates’ time.
‘We need to hear the full truth of why she has kept this from us. And if we are not happy with her response, it is time for her to leave the agency.’
Back at the office, Helen said: ‘I know I can’t date but I would like to maybe stay in the agency and still have a bit of maybe therapy. For myself.’
After this, she begins to tear up as she waits for the experts’ decision.
They thanked her for being honest and tell her that they can work with anything, before Paul, who came down the strongest after the reveal, gives her a hug.
He tells Helen: ‘I applaud this. I rate this. This is all I wanted.’
A source told The Sun: ‘Helen tried to keep the relationship under wraps because of Celebs Go Dating.
‘But that’s become difficult as their feelings have grown for each other. It came to a head when she was quizzed by the dating agents about why she was failing to pursue connections on the show.
‘The one rule of CGD is stars must be single. But E4 bosses were desperate to keep her, so found a way to write Robbie into the show.
‘Sources on set have seen him filming alongside Helen. While it’s not known how E4 will justify the fakery, viewers will feel they’re trying to pull the wool over their eyes.’
Former Coronation Street actress Helen is mother to Matilda, eight, Delilah, six, and son Charlie, three.
She shares them with her ex-partner, Bristol Rovers footballer Scott Sinclair, 35, whom she dated from 2009 to 2022.
Robbie shares his two children – both girls – with his ex-partner.
The former Ashford assistant coach and Helen went public at Helen’s 34th birthday party in August.
