Cher and Alexander Edwards packed on the PDA with her 38-year-old boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edward at the premiere of The Bikeriders in Hollywood on Monday evening, Daiy Mail reports.
The icon’s boyfriend, whom she has been with on and off since November 2022, planted a sweet kiss on her cheek while posing for snaps on the red carpet.
According to the report by Daily Mail, Cher wowed in a cropped quilted leather jacket that she styled with a sheer lace floral top beneath.
The artist flashed a hint of her flat midriff in the low-slung glittery cargo bottoms.
The Bikeriders film stars Austin Butler, Tom Hardy and Jody Comer, with a release date of June 21.
AE coordinated with his lady, opting for a leather jacket and trousers, adding a black tee, a beanie and boots.
Cher and Alexander Edwards cuddled on the red carpet and shared a sweet moment, with Cher putting her head on his shoulder as they grinned ear to ear.
Cher and Alexander Edwards, a music executive, first sparked dating rumors in November 2022, however they first met at Paris Fashion Week in September 2022.
She said that she spoke to him for 15 minutes during Fashion Week in Paris and a mutual friend gave her number to him.
‘It was really shocking because people just don’t give out my number. I. had been telling all my friends, “We’re too old to go out with really younger men, and I will never fall in love on text.” So I did what I said not to do!,’ she told People in October 2023.
Cher said that the reason why she broke her own rules for him was because he is ‘just so special.’
‘I hate when people say people are special, but lots of people say I’m special, so I can say that he’s special. No matter what happens, I love being with him. He makes me laugh, and we have fun. What I learned is that it’s never too late,’ she told the outlet.
‘If you wrote out all the statistics you would go, “Well this is doomed.” But we’ve been together for a year, and if it was just a year, it would’ve been worth it. I’ve had the best time.’
She said that she understands why people are interested in their relationship, telling the outlet: ‘Alexander’s got diamond teeth, tattoos, white hair, and he’s way younger. He’s a beautiful man. Also I think its fun to be interested in somebody else’s love life!’
They split in May 2023, and it was amicable.
AE has a son named Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, four, with ex Amber Rose.
They reconciled by September 2023; they were seen holding hands while going out on a double date with J Balvin and his partner Valentina Ferrer.
Since then, Cher and AE’s relationship has been going from strength to strength.
‘If you have happiness, you can’t think about how long it’s going to last. You have to think about “How does it feel?” and live in the moment,’ she told People.
