Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky stormed the 2024 Met Gala looking like Greek God and Goddess complimenting each other as they walked the red carpet.
As the Thor actor serves as a co-chair for this year’s event, themed “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” the Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky turned the outing into a sweet date night.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky looked ethereal as they wore complementing Tom Ford ensembles, with Hemsworth, 40, donning a cream-colored suit and Pataky, 47, wearing a shimmering long-sleeve dress accessorized with gold bangles on each wrist.
Hemsworth opted for no shirt under his ensemble, giving a peak at his bare chest beneath his matching vest. Pulling the whole look together, the Marvel actor wore a gold watch and rings that matched his wife’s jewelry.
Pataky kept with the fashion event’s theme for her beauty look as she sported a long bubble braid that fell down to her waist alongside a gold crown. Hemsworth may play the God of Thunder, but his wife certainly channeled a Greek goddess with her whole ensemble.
This year’s Costume Institute exhibit will feature approximately 250 items including 15 significant pieces, such as an 1877 Charles Frederick Worth silk satin ball gown, that span over 400 years of history.
The dress code is “The Garden of Time,” inspired by J.G. Ballard’s 1962 short story of the same name, with Vogue noting it’s all about “fleeting beauty.”
For this year’s event, Hemsworth is in good company as he co-chairs with Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez and Bad Bunny, who are all Met Gala regulars.
Though this is Hemsworth’s first Met Gala ever, he and Pataky have certainly shutdown many red carpets before, including attending awards shows together and stepping out at big film premieres with their children.
Most recently, the couple showed off their love as they attended the 2024 Oscars with Hemsworth sporting a simple black suit and Pataky sliding into a sexy cutout dress.
In addition to getting loved up on the red carpet, they also paired up with Hemsworth’s Marvel costar Robert Downey Jr., who took home Best Actor for Oppenheimer that night.
