The Nigeria’s Ambassador to South Africa, Alhaji Ahmed Ibeto has resigned his post as Ambassador, announcing his defection from All Progressive Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The former Deputy Governor of Niger State was said to have made this announcement on Monday, after returning from South Africa at the weekend.
Ibeto was is yet to make public his ambition after his resignation, but he is said to be eyeing the governorship seat of Niger State under the Peoples Democratic party come 2019.
