A lone scooter rider with an unregistered number, has been arrested by the operatives of the Lagos State Police Command with a pistol and a live ammunition, the Command Public Relations Officer reports.
The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday 2nd November 2022, stated that the scooter rider was arrested on Tuesday at about 0050hrs by vigilant patrol officers of the Adeniji Adele Division.
The lone rider was nabbed after being spotted at Glover junction. And on searching his handbag, a locally made semi-automatic pistol and a round of live ammunition were recovered.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin who shared a photo of the suspect, added in his statement that the suspect has been moved to Police Headquarters, Ikeja for in-depth investigation.
