Super Eagles Captain Musa, has taken to his social media handle to share a never before seen photo of his younger self.
The 29-year-old Super Eagles captain Musa who is a former winger for Leicester City and now plays for Turkish Süper Lig club Fatih Karagümrük, joining others in the throwback Thursday social media post on Thursday 4th November 2021, posted the old photo on his social media to the admiration of his over 600 thousand Instagram followers.
From his caption of the photo which reads:
“For one minute, walk outside, stand there, in silence. Look up at the sky and contemplate how amazing life is. Alhamdulilah,” he is clearly trying to motivate and encourage millions of Nigerian youths to never give up hope in their hustle.
Super Eagles captain Musa who started his professional career in 2008, is the most capped Nigerian player with over 100 caps.
The former Kano Pillars and Leicester City forward whose name Nigerians will never forget in a hurry, given his outstanding performance at the last FIFA world cup, after he reached over a 100 cap for Nigeria, made a public post thanking God, fans and teammates for everything.
He had said:
“I can’t keep calm as we keep winning. Thanks to my family, my teammates, fans and not forgetting the NFF. I want to specially mention it’s my 100th cap for the team as well. It’s an absolute honour & privilege to serve in this capacity. All of these wouldn’t have been possible without you guys as there is no ‘I’ in the team.
You guys rock. Thanks so much once again. Here’s to more wins,” he added.
Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa was celebrated and gifted with the sum of N10million naira by the NFF, for reaching 100 national team caps for the Super Eagles.
