The body of late Lagos socialite and Polo Buff, Adedapo Ojora to be laid to rest on Friday.

Adedapo Ojora who was the son of corporate titan, Otunba Adeyinka Ojora and was reported to have allegedly shot himself on the head at his Ikoyi Lagos residence, will be buried near his elder brother, Adegboyega aka Gbegi who died nine years ago.

According to the founder of Ovation magazine and The Boss Newspaper, Dele Momodu who first reported the news on Wednesday 16th December 2020, on his official social media handle, stated that sources revealed that the family have insisted on a thorough investigation and autopsy before the burial but have gone ahead to put machinery in place for his burial.

The report also stated further that a source also revealed to The Boss Newspaper that ”Discussions have begun but the family have decided to put this sad incident behind them before Christmas”

The funeral service which announcement is yet to be made public, maybe held at the Ojora Family Church, Our Saviours Church, Tafawa Balewa Square.

The sad news of the death of Adedapo Ojora was also confirmed by the immediate pasted Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Bukola Saraki and his wife, Toyin Saraki.  

Senator Bukola Saraki and his wife had expressed shock and sadness over the sad news, where they shared their condolence messages on their official social media handles over the weekend. The couple had put out this message, which we also reported,where they said:

The Ojora family sadly regrets to inform of the death of our dearly beloved son, brother, uncle and father, Omo-Oba Adedapo Adelanke Abdulfatah Ojora on Friday 11th December 2020 at his Ikoyi Lagos residence.

We are grateful to the Lagos State Police command for immediately commencing an investigation into the circumstances of his death, the outcome of which we await.

As we mourn our irreparable and devastating loss, we appreciate the condolence messages and prayers that we have received and seek your understanding that the family be allowed to grieve in Private. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.

We ask that you continue to pray for the repose of Adedapo’s soul,” the statement shared by both Saraki and his wife, Toyin Saraki added.
