Nevada electors have voted for Democrat candidate, Joe Biden as the President of the United States. This comes as the U.S Electoral College, all 538 of them gives their verdicts on the just concluded Presidential election. It is also widely expected that they give their votes to President-elect, Joe Biden.
The six Nevada electors on Monday confirmed Biden as president-elect in the state in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
Biden’s win in the battleground state was challenged in Nevada district court by President Donald Trump’s campaign but a judge dismissed the suit, ruling that the campaign had not supported its claims of fraud and wrongdoing with proof.
The vote by the six Nevada electors comes a few days after Trump has urged his supporters to come out and defend their votes, and promising them that he will join them in the protest.
