Meghan and her husband Prince Harry and their beautiful baby Archie will not be spending this Christmas with the Queen, as they have concluded plans to spend the Christmas with the duchess’ mother, Doria Ragland.
It is not yet known where the group will go on December 25, but options are thought to include Frogmore Cottage, the US, or even on a foreign holiday.
The Queen is said to be supportive of the Sussexes’ plans and it follows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s past decision to spend Christmas with Kate’s parents and not with the Queen.
Prince Harry and Meghan are said to be taking a six-week break from royal duties starting with a US trip, likely to begin around Thanksgiving on November 28.
The couple’s time off follows a busy tour of Africa in September and October and carrying out several engagements early in November.
No official statement has been released concerning this, as it seems to have become the tradition of the Duchesses, and a Christmas celebration with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, will not be out of place. But no words about her reconciling with her father, as we await her visit to the United States.
