Antonio Brown’s world is beginning to fall apart (financially), as a few days after he was accused by two women of sexual assault, Sports giant, Nike has announced that they have withdrawn their sponsorship deal with the New England Patriot wide receiver.

Nike speaking for the first time since the Antonio Brown’s alleged rape case broke,  told reporters on Wednesday evening that, “Antonio Brown is not a Nike athlete,” and offered up no other explanation about when the sports company decided to part ways with the NFL wide receiver.

Brown, who just played his first game as a New England Patriot, had scored a sponsorship with Nike and they released a sneaker earlier this year bearing his name

In February, Nike had debuted the “Nike Tech Trainer Antonio Brown” shoe, which featured a golden sole, floral patterns and Brown’s #84 stitched into the side

The tongue of the show also carried his trademark phrase, “Business is Boomin.”

The trainers retailed for $100, but after Nike’s announcement that they had cut ties, they were no longer available for sale in the online store.

Antonio Brown will not be the first Nike athlete that will be accused of rape, like others who have signed deals with Nike have seen such deals revoked mainly for sex scandals, and Nike over the years have spent over $100billion on sponsorship deals.
