After weeks of checking herself into a treatment centre, singer Britney Spears is reported to be in not so good state of health, and in danger of losing her life. Her advisers fear she has not been taking her medication, and could as a result of that lose her life.
According to The Blast which reported the news, a source with direct knowledge of the situation said Spears’ advisers were negotiating her second Las Vegas residency, “Domination,” it became apparent the singer’s life was “out of control” and that she was in no position, due to her mental health, to handle the workload or perform.
The report said Britney Spears began to display behaviour similar to her emotional state in 2008 when the star was committed to a psychiatric ward and eventually placed on a conservatorship under the care of her father, Jamie Spears
The Blast also reported that everyone recently interacted with Spears, that she had not been taking her medication as prescribed, including taking the wrong amounts of medication, and her overall mental health had “deteriorated” to a dangerous point. As one source put it, if she did not enter a treatment facility or get major help right away, “she would be dead.”
The report also said that those around the singer worried that the full severity of the situation would leak to the media, her team floated the story that Spears was seeking treatment because she was distraught over her father’s illness, but we’re told the story was fabricated as a smokescreen to the truth.
According to a report some few days ago, Britney Spears has been struggling with her emotional well-being since her father Jamie Spears’s colon ruptured last year. The 37-year-old star has been extremely upset over the ongoing medical issues with her dad after revealing he almost died.
The initial report by TMZ was that Jamie Spears was the reason Britney Spears checked herself into a facility after he underwent 2 surgeries to correct major issues with his intestines and colon. The second surgery was recent but he’s been suffering complications. Jamie’s issues started late last year after his colon spontaneously ruptured.
Britney was said to have checked herself into the facility where she will live for 30 days. But with this information now, we now know the true nature of her health, and all we can do now is pray and hope she continues with her medication and get better.
