Chelsea’s Assistant Coach Marco Ianni has been charged by the English Premier League FA following the melee involving him and Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourinho during Saturday’s game at the Bridge.

According to the FA, Marco Ianni was charged for his behaviour during the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, which they said constituted an improper conduct.

He has since been given until Thursday to respond to the charge levelled against him. But Jose Mourinho was only issued a mere warning for reacting angrily to Marco Ianni celebration at the front of United’s bench.

While speaking on the whole issue in a press conference earlier today, as his team prepares for another crucial game, Jose Mourinho said, since the Sarri has already apologized on Marco’s behalf, he has forgiven him. He said:

“I don’t think he deserves more than what he got. He apologized to me, I accept his apologies.

“I think he deserves a second chance. I don’t think he deserves to be sacked. I don’t think he deserves anything more than the fact his club was strong with him.”

But the argument now is, why is the FA not charging Jose Mourinho too for his reaction that disrupted the game, as the FA hardly charges one party, and leaving the other with just a slap on the wrist.

If anything, Jose Mourinho over the years has been notoriously known for such behaviours towards other managers, and calling them derogatory names and nothing has or was done to him. He gets the same treatment (a taste of his own medicine) and the world and FA are calling for the Head of Marco!…not a good example FA!
