The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has named Senator Saraki as Director General (DG) of the Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council.
In a statement made a few hours ago by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiya on his social media handle, listed the name of the Nigerian Senate President and former Presidential aspirant under the PDP , Senator Bukola Saraki as the DG of the Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Campaign Council.
While making this announcement, he also named some PDP Governors and former PDP Presidential aspirants who lost to Atiku at the Port Harcourt Convention as members and coordinators in their various regions as Campaign zonal chairmen, and fund raisers.
In his message, he said:
“The PDP names the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki as Director General (DG) of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council. Other appointments are:
Governor Amini W. Tambuwal is Zonal Coordinator for NorthWest.
Governor H.E Dankwambo of Gombe State is Zonal Coordinator for NorthEast.

Ayo Fayose is the Zonal Coordinator for the SouthWest.

The PDP releasing this list ahead of the 2019 elections, are now set to kick-start their Presidential Campaign, and although there are still some minor issues surrounding the choice of former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi as the running mate to Atiku, members of the political party seem to be on the same page.
