Nurmagomedov has released a statement after his shameful display at Saturday’s championship bout against Conor McGregor, which he won, but ended with an altercation between his team and that of McGregor.

Khabib Nurmagomedov who knocked out Conor McGregor in the 4th round, after the Irishman tapped out to surrender in a serious pin-down, to remain unbeaten in 27 fights; also mocked the Irishman in his apology statement. He said he apologized to everyone that was  hurt in what he described as their common victory.

He said Conor was dreaming thinking he was going to beat him, as he speaks of what angered him and made him jumped off the cage to attack Conor’s team.

While apologizing to his fans, Nurmagomedov said, he is apologizing to everyone he might have hurt with the common victory especially his sincere fans. He said:

Khabib Nurmagomedov after making McGregor hit a tap to surrender from the fight with a killer pin, jumped out of the cage and went straight to Conor McGregor’s team, and although he missed his flying kick, that action ignited a brawl in the arena as fans and both Khabib and McGregor team engaged in what looked more like a street fight…that singular action from the Russian took all the fun and overshadowed his victory.

He explained what triggered his action to jump off the cage, attacking Conor and his team was because the Irishman spoke badly about his religion, his Country and most importantly his father.

He said what happened on the 6th to McGregor, was for his big mouth and he deserved everything that happened to him that night.
His team that attacked Conor McGregor while still inside the cage, have all been arrested, as we look further to the next actions by the UFC chairman.
