PHOTO: PDP Releases A Statement Asking President Buhari To Join Retiree’s Club

The main opposition political party in Nigeria, Peoples Democratic party, has blast both President Buhari and the All Progressive Congress led government for attacking former President Obasanjo, after his letter asking President Buhari to resign.

In a statement released by the party, they insisted that such remarks are more suited for people as President Buhari and not Obasanjo. This is coming after it was alleged that the National leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu asked former President Obasanjo to quit politics and join the retirees club, which was a reply to Obasanjo’s letter to Buhari.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, while releasing the statement on the twitter handle of the party, said:

The counsel by the @APCNigeria national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, that former President of the country should quit politics and join retiree’s club, best suits President Buhari. Even Tinubu knows that Buhari is most qualified to join the retirees club. See their official statement:
