The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Sani Danladi is now free to contest Saturday’s Governorship election in Taraba State, as Appeal Court sitting in Abuja overturns his disqualification earlier given by a Federal High Court in Jalingo Taraba State.
The Federal High Court in Jalingo had on Wednesday disqualified Sani Danladi from contesting for the Governorship election in Taraba State, after he was alleged to have falsified his age in the form he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). But Appeal Court overturned the judgment on Thursday, thereby giving Sani and APC a clear way to be part of the election on Saturday.
