A Bauchi car crash in Zangoro village on the Bauchi-Darazo road Thursday, has left about 14 people dead.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Bauchi State Branch of the Road Safety Authority, Yusuf Abdullahi while speaking on the Bauchi car crash, disclosed this in a report on the number of road accidents in the state, where he said five people were injured in the accident.
He said the accident happened between a Golf and a Chevrolet.
The commander attributed the high number of hit-and-runs to people’s estimations, saying his officers recovered N73,000 cash, seven cell phones and small bags at the scene of the incident.
Abdullahi said the bodies of the deceased and the injured were taken to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital.
He advised motorists to make sure they follow the traffic rules to avoid accidents.
