South Africa has been crowned Rugby World Cup champions, after defeating England 12-32 in Saturday’s final in Yokohama, Japan.
The South Africans just as expected, showed skills, strength and determination to break the hearts of the English players to take home yet another Rugby world cup title.
An outstanding performance from South African wingers of both Makazole Mapimpi and Cheslin Kolbe, in the final 15 minutes of the game dealt the final blow to England who looked scared through out the game. They won penalty after penalty at the scrum, many of which Handre Pollard turned into points – 22 in all – and their back-row bossed the breakdown.
According to reports, the English team struggled all through with the skills and physicality of the South Africans, as they were nothing like what we saw in their semi-final game against New Zealand. But in all, the South Africans played with their hearts, and were deserved winners!
congratulations to the #southfrica
