Naomi Watts experienced an awkward wardrobe malfunction while attending the Khaite show during New York Fashion Week at Park Avenue Armory on Saturday, Daily Mail reports.
The celebrated actress, 58, went braless beneath a stylish sheer black top, but the look didn’t stay in place, with the edge of the fabric slipping down and her nipple briefly spilling out of her top beneath the transparent material.
Naomi Watts stunned in the chic all-black outfit, layering a charcoal-grey longline wool coat over the sheer top and a satin slip dress.
A silk scarf was tied around her neck, adding a classic finish.
She paired the look with black velvet heels and carried a small patent leather top-handle bag.
Her blonde hair was styled in a neat lob, worn loose, while her makeup featured a simple base and a bold red lip, while oversized black sunglasses completed the ensemble.
Despite the brief slip, Naomi appeared relaxed as she arrived for the show, which formed part of the city’s annual New York Fashion Week events.
It comes after Naomi Watts shocked fans at the Venice Film Festival in August, when she arrived on the red carpet with a bizarre fashion item.
The Australian actress put on a loved-up display as she attended the event with husband Billy Crudup for the premiere of his latest film, Jay Kelly.
However, one accessory Naomi wore left many fans on Instagram scratching their heads.
The stunning dress, a custom Valentino gown designed by Alessandro Michele, was adorned with floral embellishments, including a silk bow which followers said looked like a ‘fanny pack’ at first glance.
‘That black thing looks like a bum bag/fanny pack. Detracts from the gorgeous dress. Completely unnecessary – to the designers – remove it,’ one fan demanded.
Another chimed in with a similar comment: ‘Beautiful dress, but I thought the black bow was a fanny pack at first.’
Nevertheless, most fans could agree Naomi’s dress was gorgeous with its plunging sweetheart neckline and embroidered flowers.
The actress accessorised with diamond drop earrings and styled her blonde hair in soft waves.
Meanwhile, Billy looked dapper in a cream tuxedo, paired with a crisp white shirt, black bow tie and matching tailored trousers.
The couple did not shy away from showing affection during their red carpet appearance, happily holding hands.
Naomi was also seen placing her arm lovingly around her husband’s shoulders while Billy stared into his wife’s eyes with palpable adoration.
The pair began dating in 2017 after they met on the set of the Netflix series Gypsy.
After making their red carpet debut together in 2022, they married in New York City the following year.
