The House Of Representatives has also witnessed its own political tsunami, as 36 members of the ruling party of the All Progressive Congress (APC) decamped from the party.
According to source, 32 of the defected APC members left for the Peoples Democratic Party, and 4 others join African Democratic Party (ADC) and (CUUP), all citing division at all levels of their political party, APC.
This is coming few hours after 15 senators from the APC decamped to PDP overturning the majority in favour of the PDP, who before now, were the minority.
The likes of Zakari Muhammed, Absulsamad Dasuk, Mark Gbilah, Ahmed Bichi, Barry Mpigi, Ali Madaki, Dickson Tackighir, Sano Rano, Danburam Nuhu amongst others.
The twist in all of these is that while members of the ruling party are defecting, the principal officers are maintaining their ground, as the whole drama in the National Assembly has been alleged to be a calculated move to outsmart APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole and other party leaders, who have been rumoured to be plotting their removal.
Now, that the National Assembly members have revealed their plan A, we now await the APC party leaders to respond to the mass defection from the party…lol
…2019 election is getting more interesting on a daily basis…More details to come.
