Meghan Markle blames Kate, who is the Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Charles for leaking stories about her to the press during her time as a senior royal.
According to the report by MailOnline, a close source stated that Meghan Markle blames Kate as she allegedly believed negative pieces, including one about Kate Middleton ‘being left in tears’ following a bridesmaids’ dress fitting must have been released by Kate, Camilla or Charles’ households.
This latest development which was also reported by the Metro UK is beginning to look like both Meghan and the Royal Family are fighting hard to get the public on their sides, as the world awaits the much talked about and much-anticipated Prince Harry and Meghan interview with Oprah, set to air on Sunday.
In some of the piece already released on the interview, Meghan
told Oprah Winfrey that she cannot be expected to just be silent’ as the Royal Family ‘plays an ‘active role in perpetuating falsehoods’ about her.
One leaked story involved Meghan’s choice of tiara for her wedding day, with Harry accused of telling the Queen’s dresser Angela Kelly ‘what Meghan wants, Meghan gets’.
Reports later claimed the ‘spat’ was over Ms Kelly’s ‘failing to arrange suitable trial fittings for the tiara’. Another leaked’ report claimed the Duchess of Cambridge was left in tears following a fitting for Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress before Meghan and Harry’s big day in 2018, Metro UK reports.
While a majority of those outside of the United Kingdom have praised Meghan and Harry for their interview, calling it a bold step, with the popular Netflix series ‘The Crown’ not helping matters as regarding life at the British Royal Palace, others are dragging them especially Meghan and using a racial slur towards her as they feel she is the major cause of the whole drama going on in the Palace.
It was only a few days ago, the Buckingham Palace in trying to manage the crisis and try to protect its image, especially as it relates to the issue of race, and Meghan, put out a statement refuting all the allegations against the Monarchy and Meghan.
An insider source had said: ‘It is absolutely untrue that the Palace has been peddling disinformation or conducting any kind of campaign ahead of the interview. The Palace has not got involved. It has clearly not been coming from us.’
