English Premier League club and the most successful team in England, Manchester United has finally unveiled the new South Stand sign renamed after their club legend, Sir Bobby Charlton. The club which made the announcement earlier today said:

The Old Trafford South Stand is deservedly renamed after Sir Bobby Charlton. ?

Sir Bobby Charlton is the club legend and leading goal scorer for decades before it was finally broken by a friend and former captain Wayne Rooney.  He scored 249 goals and set a club record of 758 appearances before leaving the club in the early 70s. His club appearance record has since been broken by Ryan Giggs in the 2008 UEFA Champions League Final.

Wayne Rooney broke his goalscoring record of 251 goals in 559 appearances for the club. Good, he finally gets a stand, and we cannot wait for what United will be giving Wayne Rooney for his club achievement. Congratulations to Bobby.
