The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed twenty new cases of the coronavirus across some states in Nigeria, as the total number of cases confirmed so far in the country, jumps to 343.
The NCDC on Monday 13th April 2020, at about 9:50 pm, confirmed that Twenty new cases of COVID19 have been reported, and they are as follows:
13 in Lagos
2 in Edo
2 in Kano
2 in Ogun
1 in Ondo.
These Twenty new cases take the overall figure of confirmed cases of the coronavirus as at Monday 13th April 2020, to 343, and 91 persons have so far been discharged with 10 deaths recorded so far. The number of states in Nigeria with confirmed cases of the coronavirus as at Monday 13th April 2020, stands at 19, out of 36 States including the Federal Capital Territory.
The twenty new cases mean there are now 343 confirmed cases, 91 discharged and 10 deaths. These figures are distributed as follows in the 19 States across Nigeria:

Also, it was not all bad news today, as the Lagos State Government a few hours ago, announced that about six persons were discharged from one of the Isolation centres in the State, and they were one female and five male.
Governor Sanwo-Olu in his daily briefing to Lagosians had taken to his social media page to say that six more persons were discharged on Monday 13th April 2020, bringing the total number of persons discharged so far in the state alone to 61.
The Governor addressing Lagosians, made the following announcement on the six more persons discharged from Yaba isolation centre. He said:
“My dear Lagosians,
I bring you more good news of progress in our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, Six more persons; 1 female and 5 males have been discharged from the IDH, Yaba, after their full recovery and testing negative twice to COVID-19
These additional discharged cases brings the number of patients who have been managed and discharged from our facilities to 61.
I appeal to residents to continue to observe the recommended precautionary guidelines of social distancing and a high level of personal hygiene.
All hands are on deck to ensure the currently admitted patients are discharged within the shortest possible time.
