Uganda President Yoweri Museveni has been gifted with white Sneakers by American fashion designer, and rapper Kanye West after the rapper paid a visit to the Presidential villa to see the President.
The Ugandan President Museveni while appreciating the kind gesture from Kanye West who is in Africa with his family and business associates, said he appreciated the visit and gift, as they held a meaningful discussion on how to promote tourism and arts in the East African country.
Taking to his social media page to say thank you, President Yoweri Museveni said:
“I welcome American entertainment stars Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to Uganda. I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how to promote Uganda’s tourism and the arts. I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers. Enjoy your time in Uganda. It is the true Pearl of Africa.”
Kanye West who has faced a lot of criticism for his slavery speech and tweets, and most importantly his public support for President Trump and his ideas…a President that allegedly called African countries a shit hole countries is said to be in Uganda with Big Sean as they look to shoot a music video on his album he has been promoting.
Though Kanye West visit is based on business and maybe tourism with his family, some fans have criticized the rapper for the visit, alleged that the American rapper is only running away from the heavy bashing he has been receiving from Americans after yet another visit to President Trump, where he also presented him with a pair of white sneakers.
The rapper who after being criticized for standing with Trump, deleted his social media handles, but only returned a few days ago, with another handle name as ‘Ye’, but his rants have continued on the new handle, just like the previous ones…STILL THE KIM KANYE
