Selena Gomez And Benny Blanco since Make First Red Carpet Appearance After Wedding

Selena Gomez and  Benny Blanco made their first red carpet appearance since their lavish wedding while attending the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala in L.A. on Saturday, Daily Mail reports.

According to the report by Daily Mail, the 33-year-old actress – who recently enjoyed a ‘perfect’ honeymoon with the record producer – glammed up alongside Blanco as they sweetly cozied up at the star-studded event.

It comes only weeks after the couple said ‘I do’ during a three-day wedding extravaganza in Santa Barbara late last month in September.

Selena Gomez turned heads wearing a black velvet gown that clung to her frame and contained silver glittering details around the neckline.

The Only Murders In The Building star draped a black velvet blazer over her shoulders and slipped into a pair of chic black shoes.

Her brunette locks were parted to the side and styled into an elegant up do, easily revealing a pair of glittering earrings.

Gomez’s makeup was classically done for the evening and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a pink blush to her cheekbones. A dark red tint was worn on her lips for a final touch.

Blanco dressed for the occasion donning a dark navy suit that was also made of velvet material

He additionally opted for a blue shirt underneath which was partially unbuttoned at the top as well as a pair of black loafers.

The music artist further styled the look with gold jewelry including bracelets on his left wrist.

Selena Gomez paused for a few solo pictures upon arriving to the main venue where the festivities took place over the weekend.

The newlyweds also paused for a brief photos session together with Blanco lovingly holding her hand at one point.

The couple’s latest outing comes not long after they returned from their ‘perfect’ honeymoon following a lavish wedding.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco reportedly celebrated their nuptials by going on a road trip along the coast of California and visiting her home state of Texas.

‘They loved their little honeymoon,’ a source close to the couple told People. ‘They celebrated for days during their wedding and was on such a high.’

The insider also said that the singer and the music producer thought their romantic getaway was ‘perfect’ for them because they got the chance to ‘slow down’ and ‘relax.’

‘They really enjoyed slowing down, going on a road trip to explore and relax,’ the insider said. ‘They drove up the Cali coast and also visited Texas. It was perfect.’

The report comes shortly after the actress admitted she was ‘sobbing’ and fearing the worst in the weeks following their picturesque wedding.

The Only Murders in the Building star married the music maker on September 27 in Santa Barbara, California.

They exchanged vows with their loved ones in a 170-strong, star-studded guest list on a 70-acre private estate.

Gomez wore a total of four bespoke, white dresses, all custom-designed for her by Ralph Lauren.

Big names and bigwigs at the wedding of the year included her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short, Steve Martin as well as her longtime best friend Taylor Swift.

Other A-list guests included Paul Rudd, Ashley Park, Cara Delevingne as well as her Emilia Perez co-stars Edgar Ramirez and Zoe Saldana.

She also invited her Wizards of Waverly Place co-stars, her onscreen family Jennifer Stone, David DeLuise and Maria Canals-Barrera.

And the lovebirds also celebrated with Ed Sheeran and Paris Hilton in the crowd alongside SZA, Camila Cabello, Eric Andre, Finneas, Nina Dobrev and many more.

For her first appearance after getting married, Gomez attended the Fortune’s Most Powerful Women conference in Washington, DC.

At the event, she took the stage and opened up about her wedding day.

She recalled feeling anxious and admitted she was ‘sobbing’ after they exchanged vows.

‘This is how I work personally, but [when] something great happens in my life, I expect something bad to happen,’ she told the audience.

‘So instead of being present and saying, “Okay, wow, we’ve done a great thing,’ which I do, I’m always thinking, “Okay, but this could go away tomorrow, so how can I make sure that doesn’t happen?”‘

She said she gets ‘wrapped up’ in an irrational sense of dread.

‘I would say that’s my biggest conflict sometimes when wonderful things happen,’ she said.

‘I got married and then I was sobbing because I was like, “I’m gonna die the next day.” I just think that’s a little life thing.’
